About Carly

Carly Hauger is an educator, learning specialist, and executive function coach with 17+ years of experience supporting students with diverse learning styles and academic needs. She holds dual master’s degrees in General and Special Education from Hunter College in New York City and previously worked as a special education teacher before transitioning into 1:1 support through Hauger Learning Services.
Carly specializes in working with neurodivergent learners and students with ADHD, anxiety, dyslexia, and executive functioning challenges. She supports students in reading, writing, math, organization, study skills, and academic self-advocacy through a warm, creative, and flexible approach.
Sessions are tailored to the unique goals of each student and family. Some students primarily need homework support and accountability, while others focus on supplemental skill-building, executive functioning coaching, hands-on projects, or interest-driven learning experiences designed to build skills, confidence, independence, and a healthier relationship with school.
When she’s not tutoring, Carly can usually be found playing futsal, reading, or snuggling with her dachshund.
